I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

I come from the almond industry. I’ve had several friends in and out of this company. Overall good but it comes down to department. I also just want to point out that, it may not seem threatening now in the short term but most definitely will be in the long term, but CA is getting very aggressive about climate change initiatives and I promise you, the nut industry (especially walnuts and pistachios) will be the first ones to have to rethink strategy on their production. That cost will trickle down to its employees when trying to afford the changes.
Great point, I’m sure the states regulations are driving lots of change in this industry. I don’t actually come from a C&IP background so this would be new to learn. The role for OCM might be more ERP focused
