Anyone know the average time it may take to hear back from the VA on a mental health claim? Whether that be request to come in for an exam or a decision based off NEXUS letter provided. My tinnitus claim was maybe a month and a half. Hoping this one won’t be months and months.

Tomorrow they are requiring masks again and I was almost in tears when I found out. We have been mask free (recommended) since June and I feel like we are being muzzled again. Anyone else struggling with hormones / mood swings? I am almost 16 weeks and been having a real tough time lately, feeling really down and stressed about things. Vets using Tricare with a family. I’m out and can use Tricare with the VA, but my wife and I each use our company offerings for our family; which obviously come at cost. Is it worth it to switch to Tricare? Has anyone done this and can share details? Positives/negatives?
