As an ADC applying this summer for 2022 start, I haven’t gotten a chance to connect with any L.E.K. Consulting members and I really want to get to know the company better before moving on with my application. Any L.E.K. Consulting fish out there willing to spare a few minutes to chat about their work, the company, the culture etc? Thanks!

My total compensation for tinnitus, mental health, and others took about 1.5 years. I’d heard stories taking upwards of 2 prior to me filing. All in all, if approved, you’ll be awarded all the retro from the date of initial claim submission.

Jeeze. From submitting your mental health claim took over a year? When did you submit? I submitted tinnitus initially but it only took 5-6 weeks to get approved and get the 10% rating.
Back in 2019, when I was getting bumped from 90% to 100% P&T...probably took around 60-75 days from putting in my claims to receiving my decision.
Oh ok sweet. Thanks!
Mine took a few months, be l but that was ban in 1028ish when the Iraq and Afghanistan beta were at its peak

Makes sense I’m just finally getting around to trying to file claims. Guess we’ll see how long it’ll take
Physical claims are easier in their system and generally get processed quickly. Mental health is a completely different story and takes much long. My example was because I submitted all at once which lumped my physical with mental and had to wait on mental.

Good to know!
It depends on how recently you left service. BDD you should get it close to your retirement/sep date. Within 1 year of Separation you still qualify for expedited processing. After that year it's at the speed of the VA lol
