Any parents who are still on the safe side with Covid? We have a 1 year old and being safe and staying mostly home is really getting to me. Most of our friends have kids who are able to mask up or are vaccinated and it’s getting quite isolating. Stupid Question- We have been thinking for IVF and trying to understand with this process, is there any difference in the health and life of the child as compared to a child born without IVF. I did ask this with our doctor and he said casually its all same. This is not to question any doctor but just to really understand what is going to be different with the kid. I had IVF process to get pregnant. During pre- embryo transfer we were told that girl embryo is being transferred. Currently I am 18 week pregnant. I had anatomy scan and we found out we are having a boy. Baby looked all healthy but due to gender discrepancy, We are asked to do additional testing and genetic disorder screening. Any tips on how to improve lining thickness? My RE had me on Estrace for a week before starting Prometrium (vaginally) a few days ago, but my lining is only a little above 5mm. Looks likely that this FET cycle is going to get canceled (was potentially going to be this weekend) since the lining doesn’t seem to be thick enough. This will be the 3rd transfer cycle that’s getting canceled, it just really sucks...what’s worse is I didn’t see my doctor today, just the sono tech, (cont’d)

Any women here with lean PCOS? I do not ovulate on my own (metformin regulated my periods but I still don’t ovulate) and am moving from three cycles of Clomid/IUI to IVF soon. No other issues have been found other than my PCOS (HSG shows tubes open). Curious about your experiences. And the reason I mentioned lean PCOS is because it seems for others with PCOS part of the fertility path is diet/exercise/weight loss but I am already very tiny.

Sad post, in need of some support **** my partner and i tried for 1 year to conceive naturally, only to have a miscarriage and start our IVF journey. 1 year into that - we had 5 healthy PGT-A and PGT-M tested embryos and were hopeful to implant. Implantation 1 just failed. We lost 20% of our chances that took 1 year to build. And tine just keeps ticking

Has anyone else talked to a doctor about stress while trying to conceive? I’ve been having a really hard time wanting a baby for the way my husband and I have been arguing or talking to each other. I think we should go to counseling. I know I love him and I know he loves me- there’s just so much animosity so much anxiety around discussions. Do you think our anxiety or tension is because we have not been able to conceive?
