Different firms do this very differently, either your bonus policy or leave policy may address it; I’ve even seen it in a leave letter where prorated hours are laid out. Otherwise, someone in HR may know.
Thanks! Neither our bonus or leave policy addresses it (our bonus is a percentage of “compensation”) so I’m considering taking the position that it should not be prorated. Appreciate knowing it’s not standard across the industry though.

Our bonuses are prorated for parental leave. But if you manage to hit full hours you’ll get the full bonus. At lockstep firm.
