Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Maybe it's the drink coupons, OP.
Over half of Southwest fleet is the very old 737-700 not 800 (AA's main plane), or 900 (UA's main plane) but Southwest has the most orders for the 737MAX thru 2021. Southwest also works their planes the most with the fastest turnaround in the industry so I wouldn't be surprised if that translates to them using air filters longer and causing lower quality air in the cabin
Quote from ATC worker "Southwest for example tends to climb like bats out of hell, and then request direct routing/shortcuts from us, and we are often able to approve them and send them direct, since they're above most conflicting traffic. It's one of their signature tricks, and it usually works."

Lol, a 737-800 is a 737-800
That’s actually BO from the other people who fly Southwest
Southwest is famous for climbing to cruising altitude very fast and then requesting a faster flight path so the flight can arrive earlier at the destination. The faster climb could be what gets you
PwC 1...no that's not a thing. That would require southwest getting preferential treatment by ATC. Unless you're joking.
Pwc1 😆
