Hello i m tech arch at Salesforce without CS degree but i have engineering degree though
I’m a TA in CSG without a CS degree. I do have a technical degree similar to MIS.
I am CSG TA. I majored the Chemical Engineering. I am seeing lot of junior developers from ADC center who did not CS. They will be TA in the future.

If you know the platform you can get it, degree doesnt matter. CS background just makes it a lot easier…

I didn't have the degree when I worked there and I was Sr. (L8, Sr. Manager-level). It's a mid-career role based on specialized knowledge, so it never came up. I suppose for the minority of people they hire with no existing Salesforce experience, demonstrating an ability to learn and pass exams is important, and a degree is one way to do that. But I think it was much more important that I had the Application Architect designation coming in + olan area of specialty (e.g. CPQ / Marketing Cloud / CRM Analytics /etc.), and it would have been even better if I had System Architect in addition / instead. They used to require that you get both within 18 months of hire, and many on staff have them, or even have CTA / are candidates to sit.
