I've had 3 managers in 2 years, and my current manager seems too busy to discuss promotion, or can't remember what we talk about week to week. Thinking of jumping ship, but zero guarantee things will be any better 🙃

So lately I’ve been using the interns to get the engagement and work papers set up so I can go in and do the return. I don’t think it’s fair for their growth. I’ve seen managers do it so I’m taking part in it. But what do you think? It does help make me more energy but I can stop doing this too.

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. Is 7 weeks too early to start thinking I may have made a huge mistake in switching to my current gig? I left the last place because it was overr toxic and terrible W/L balance, for one that seemed to be more “fun” and more realistic hours, only to find that I’ve now been working 12 -14 hours a day and just drowning and feeling like I cannot catch up or catch my breath.
