Are you able to get health insurance through your employer? I'm getting booted off my parents' insurance in a few months and I found out my employer keeps us at PT so we don't get insurance. Before I start job hunting, is this normal or do most retail chains offer health benefits?

If you’re anywhere near a Costco look at their seasonal opportunities and try to impress, they have great benefits, pay, etc.

I've been trying to figure out how to get hired by them. I have one really close and I'm probably going to collect social security later this year and work part time. Comes out the same and easier than finding something full time at 60+

Very few companies offer benefits to part-time employees. You need to look for something full time.

Most offer insurance for full time employees

Probably is true. You might be able to get a marketplace plan until you find a job that you can get benefits. I'm currently unemployed since July because my position was eliminated and I was able to get a marketplace plan. It's not the best but I have something

Look at Target, Walmart, or Amazon distribution centers. Great benefits like insurance on day one and paid college tuition and easy to get hired on.

I applied for a job and received an offer from my client. 15k+ bump in salary, better benefits/remote work, and responsibilities will give me exposure to all areas of the organization (start up). The problem is that they’re looking to staff me as a Senior when I’m currently a Manager at DT. They said they’re flexible on title, but curious to hear how others have navigated similar situations. I would report directly to the controller and have 1-2 staff reporting to me...

Hi all, I just got a job offer at PwC for a senior consultant position. The salary is 30% above my total comp right now, but I’m just worried about the amount of work I will have to put in compared to my amazing work life balance now. Does anyone have any experience moving from industry to consulting? I need some advice on what to do. I’m still early in my career (1.4yoe) so I feel like I shouldn’t care too much about wlb, but at the same time, I don’t want my mental health to suffer either.

Really struggling with a few students in my kindergarten class this year and looking for suggestions. I've been teaching K for 10 of the 16 years I've been a teacher, and have never felt as disrespected by students as I do this year. Several students continually talk, yell, and laugh over me, or make noises when I am talking. They are sent away from the group to reset and make a better choice, but usually continue when they return. Parent contact has been supportive, but hasn't helped.

Hi 🐠@Morganstanley

Is there any time limit to avail relocation amount . I joined recently but currently working from home . Not yet planned to return to the office . So I just wanted to know if there is any time limit before I should get it or I will get the amount whenever I relocate.
