Just work as usual. Perhaps increase the communication with leadership to make them feel comfy and slowly back away when things are good
Thanks for the constructive feedback ☺️
I absolutely feel the pressure. Working tons of extra hours to fulfill customer needs on the spot, hoping for a good review when my project ends in a few weeks and to be re staffed quickly
Are you Indian?
East Asia consists Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan, which are all living in a high pressure and competitive environment. Do you experience differently?
is this a real question or are you making a joke?
To echo DD1’s statement - I do my work well, and have consistent touchpoints with project leadership so they know what’s going on. The work speaks for itself and so does the client response. A “I’m better than others” mentality doesn’t enter the picture, nor does the need to brown nose leadership.
Nope no change here at all
P1, sure. When I mentioned I’m overachieving which includes I got promoted much faster than my peer, also better salary than many people 3+ years older than me because I’m doing my job great and I got top management attention. However, I feel insecure now because I don’t have a main project for few weeks already. 😕
I’m a new hire and just really met my team and did not have alot of time to connect so now I’m feeling a little confused during this time. I have to figure how to make things work
Communication is the key
I wish I could have a mentor giving me career advice. I can give you dating advice for exchange.
A1, I wonder the same. I got one when I joined the company but he couldn’t advice me much anymore.
D1, did you just spend you time on the ironic joke?
