Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte

I use, and prefer, a separate tab. Design is a related but different skill than art direction. On that note, I don’t believe an adequate “design” tab includes random logos and artwork jumbled on a page.
If you want to promote that skill set I like to see “branding” case studies vs design. How does the logo flex, alt expressions of the mark, applications, color palette, web… If you can pull this off you are 10x more valuable as a CREATIVE that visually problem solves.
I started my career as a designer and evolved into art direction. Even though I worked on National TV campaigns I always maintained a design sense to my portfolio. It has kept me relevant - and employed. I hate when people think design lacks a concept. Good design is conceptual and thoughtful - just like art direction.
CD1 - I can’t imagine what an art director with pure concept and no design skill would look like. I suppose it’s similar to an AD who doesn’t know how to shoot a camera but can scribble concepts right? But design helps lay concepts out no matter what lol. it was really hard for me to differentiate the two in school and still navigating it. Especially because I had design classes and they expected concept with the visual problem solving as well, not just things that look pretty. Now that I have job experience, I see that art direction is concept + cultural problem solving + design visual problem solving. As an AD, brainstorming might be messy but after that I’m expected to present everything beautifully as well. When we bring a designer in it’s for deck design and they are detached to the concept. I see that design is visual or functional problem solving. When I do design projects for example, it’s executing someone else’s original concept but providing a visual voice through design - for example a logo mark
