At what age do you plan to retire ?

Can anyone invest in Roth IRA asking with 401k or is there a limit based on salary? I was told if you are making above X, you can't invest in Roth IRA. If this is true what's is X amount?

What is the present value of a government pension? How does one calculate it? Trying to get a sense of weather it's worth moving over to Federal.

I contribute 10% of my paycheck to my employee share purchase plan. Is this smart to do given the tax repercussions behind it? Is it smarter to invest less in that and more in my Roth or 401k?

Have 50k in brokerage to put towards buying a place in Atlanta. Young 20 something who's lease is ending soon

So my fiancée and I are relatively late in terms of finally landing well paying jobs and being able to save money instead of living paycheck to paycheck. We’re both 36 and currently rent a 2 bedroom in NY and have a combined savings of $35,000 which she wants to use as a down payment on a condo. I kinda just wanna continue saving while renting. I also literally just started contributing to my 401K so I’m also late in the game for that too.

Accounting advisory big4 or IA at F100. Both senior roles. Roughly same base pay.

Big4 has clear trajectory and interesting work.

F100 has 14% bonus, perm remote, and immediate vesting 401k over 7%.

Roth vs Traditional 401k, thoughts?

I went from making $70k the last 7 years to now started a new job a month ago making $130k plus $10k bonus every year, and $60k in RSUs. I have $70k in my 401k and around $50k in savings. Want to get out of the Silicon Valley which has been home my whole life and buy in TX or AZ a ~$400k house. Whenever i have a big deadline, my body goes into a panic mode where my energy immediately goes to figuring out how I’ll get something done well and on time. Outwardly, I don’t seem stressed so no one notices but actually I usually feel like I have a cold: fatigue, headache, sore throat, sinus infection. When a task is done, i stop feeling like crap. It’s been like this since law school. Any tips on managing stress or moving towards doing good work without my body shutting down lol?

I’m having a really hard time with my changing body. 13 weeks, I don’t have too many bad side effects of pregnancy or anything so I consider myself lucky (no nausea ever etc) but I’m depressed at work, my skin is completely broken out and showing new broken face capillaries, and I’m not showing a bump yet so I just feel fat and big. I’ve asked for work but no luck. I know they say this is normal for a stub but when should I start getting worried and consider looking for exit options? I believe that I am being blocked from my transfer even though my manager approves it on paper. Is there any way I can find this out.
