I recommend Rita's book and prep software

like

A1 pretty much nailed it. Get a prep book and do a ton of practice tests. I have my PMP but the test questions are largely based on a perfect world making them effectively useless. So you have to know what PMI thinks the correct answer is vs. what the practical answer is.

Drink the kool aid and memorize!

Rita's book is the best study guide for the PMP...also take plenty of practice exams

Avoid all distraction ( phone, internet etc.) when you study. Also preferred time is the morning with Dutch Bros 911 coffee. These things put you to sleep better than lullaby

Hello, I’m a Physical Therapist (DPT) and am considering going back to school for my MBA. I’m hoping to pivot out of patient care and into a more corporate/leadership role. Is there anyone here with a similar background? Any insights as far as opportunities an MBA could afford for someone like myself? Thank you

Is there a difference in value between pursuing an MBA at an accredited, but not ivy, and a certification (business analytics or CIA)?

Does one provide more value than the other? I've heard the MBA's shine is dimming and don't want to waste time if a certificate can do the same for me.

Hello, I am a junior business administrator working in advisory operations. I have been with the company for 6 months, and was employed along with 2 other colleagues. I have picked the job up really fast and am even doing some “extra curricula’s” I really love my job. However I have recently found out I am being paid the same as an apprentice on my team, I usually do at 3 x the work he does whilst also doing my Cert CII. It has really disheartened me and I feel I should be earning more money

Mid 2020, I turned down an opportunity to jump ship from my small law firm to a big law firm. At the time I had 4 years of practice under my belt with managerial experience. I thought the offer was reasonable, come in at a 2nd year level, but with the uncertainty of the times I played it safe. Now I regret it. What avenues do I have, if any, to jump into big law from a small firm?
