Best WFH desk to purchase?

With the WFH grind looking permanent for the foreseeable future, I think it’s time to (somewhat) splurge on a nice desk for my office. Right now My setup is a laptop, and two 32 inch monitors. I don’t absolutely need standing desk capabilities, as I have adjustable platforms for my computer and monitors, but a nice hybrid desk would still be convenient.

Any recommendations from my fellow accountants?

Starting soon in Boston but the the WFH situation was still TBD when I interviewed. Are there any updates on when everyone would need to go back to office full time in the U.S.?

I’m having the hardest time finding a new job. I have 12 years of HR experience, a masters in HR, SHRM certification, and all I keep getting are rejection emails. I’ve never experienced this difficult of a time searching for new opportunities. Is this normal once you hit a certain level in your career or is it just me?

HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? I have 15 years within the organization, left for 10 months to be remote during the pandemic while sorting out childcare as immunocompromised family helped. Now HR is restarting my ET as a new employee. I realize I left, but not on bad terms and I am an exemplar and respected employee. I thought I’d have the upper hand with the nursing shortage but I’m getting the “rules are rules” response. Help!?!

What are good companies to work for that also pay WELL and hire remote? This inflation situation has me worried and my current company is great to work for, but on a budget freeze so no promotions or salary increases are approved for the time being. :/

I lateraled into a niche practice group in Sept 2021. I also have a 1 year old and have been mostly remote since I started - but have been keeping busy tracking towards 2400-2500 hours. That said getting to know people only remote has been kind of awkward at times (email only can be tough to decipher) although as a working mom the pros vastly outweigh the cons.
