EY2, do you know the purpose of vaccines? It’s not a magic bubble around you. The whole point is it prepares your immune system for a specific disease so that your body can fight and clear your body of that disease quickly and effectively.
EY3, data is mixed on the smaller viral loads now, but the chances of getting infected are lower, and when the chances of getting it are lower population level transmission is also lower, even if breakthrough infections still have transmission risk.
CDC has totally bungled explaining the difference between decreased transmission because of decreased infections and decreased transmission because of reduced viral load. Vaccines work in both ways, and honestly, the former is where most of the impact comes from.

I just don’t want to go back to the office bro.
OP, my guy, you need to chill out. Worry about your work and yourself. If your team is full of slackers, then I get why you’d be annoyed. You’re probably having to do more work because of them. But I don’t think it’s right to assume that all folks who want to work from home are slackers. And just because someone is at 80% at home, doesn’t mean they’d be 100% at the office. Bro I used to waste sooooo much time at the office just talking to people lol. I’m not a slacker btw, I just like to have a balance of enjoyment and professionalism while working in order to be consistently decent at my job.
What is the point if the you can still be infected with and spread the variants of the virus even if you are vaccinated?

I agree with basically everything you said here OP. COVID deaths are significantly higher in people over 60 and individuals with underlying health issues. I still do not believe you should be able to make people get vaccinated against their will. I think the better option would be to take steps to protect higher risk individuals by encouraging them to continue working from home and not interact with large groups. Why not impose more restrictions on the people truly at risk? We may have to just disagree. Stay safe out there!

And then people are going to quit or go to companies that don’t mandate, and PA will be even more understaffed then it is now 😂
Except if all companies start to mandate that won’t be that easy…
This won't happen in public, because they won't get rid of an partners, and not all partners are gonna be on board.
Facts. Pubic accounting is full of conservative white men…. And with them being the decision makers
