“But even more importantly, our employees were working from home for two and a half years,” Donahoe said. “And in hindsight, it turns out, it’s really hard to do bold, disruptive innovation, to develop a boldly disruptive shoe, on Zoom.”

Neither. It’s only hard to innovate on zoom when you have people that don’t know basic zoom manners or how to use technology . Remote work is only a real issue for micromanaging and people that don’t know how to use a computer . There are digital whiteboards tools that you can have similar sessions with. It just doesn’t work if the one ‘leading’ it doesn’t know how to use technology.
I don’t know if if that’s true.
There is so much work from home bashing. We need another good pandemic so we can prove once again that it’s not a bad thing 🤣
I just wrapped an amazing integrated campaign that will likely win awards and had video, social, photography and event components. It took multiple agencies and teams within our agency to pull it off, and we did it in a few months. Client is over the moon. Also just won an award for another campaign done last year with the same team. Everyone works remotely. We have some clusters of people who are together sometimes in offices, but it’s largely a geographically dispersed team and made more so challenging when everyone is traveling.
