JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

I think you’re the same person asking about the other specialist rope. The interview process is exactly the same in turns of casing and the expectation. Your interviewers might be both generalist and experts. And I would say the main point here is that if you’re not interested in the industry or the function do not do it. It is very loud and clear that you will be tied to the industry and function for the foreseeable future.

Specialist is not a track at McKinsey, it’s a level on multiple different tracks, many of which are consulting paths. What’s the specific job you’re applying for?

Main difference is that you progress slower but have more time to meet McKinsey standards as they understand you come from a different background. If you come in as an analyst lvl, you also have the opportunity of hitting the associate pay scale without becoming an EM; integrative BAs don’t reach 200k+ total comp until they reach EM
