We basically need the bank account only for everyday finance stuff (local payments, debit card, etc) and we‘re looking for some credit cards with good international fees and ideally a reward program to collect some points for traveling.

What does an exit from Salesforce consulting look like? I’m in a technical role leading a small team so my understanding is a technical/solution architect or a development team lead at either Salesforce or an end user like Amazon/Amex.

Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?

I converted $30k of rollover 401k into a Roth IRA and have $26k of realized ST Capital Gains this year (Roth conversion in end of Q1 and most capital gains in Q2).
My total federal withholding tax last year was approximately $12k and this year I will have 40% more in reported income on my employer W2 and anticipate higher that $12k federal withholding for my new job. Discussion post: I feel almost all consulting firms are the same. Mbb, big 4 etc. if you are paid enough there is probably less wlb. If there is good wlb there is not much money. Can you single out a company that you can confidently say pays very well and also has good wlb and also has good opportunities etc.?

My experience at D has been confusing through and through, and I think the company is purposely misleading. Over the course of 1 year, I’ve been in 3 different offerings and gone from a cross-consulting strategy consultant to an Oracle ERP consultant, all automatically based on organizational changes. I’m beyond confused and now 5 steps removed from the area I joined Deloitte to pursue. Despite having *very vocally* expressed my non-interest in my role, they did not lay me off cont.
