Career goals: anyone else feel like at some point you got on a treadmill and you’ve been continually speeding it up, but now can’t foresee being able to slow it down? Can’t keep this pace forever but don’t know what exits will be both forgiving and fulfilling.

Do you have a mentor? I’m in the autumn of my career and I’ve had a  modicum of success in production and it’s time to give back.

As a (class of 2020) second year whose several classmates from different groups are already thinking about leaving/going to other firms, should I explore other options too? Don’t know if they’re being dramatic about how bad it is or if I’m just drinking the koolaid in my group?

Fifth year labor and employment associate at Big4 L&E firm (think Littler) and am considering making a move into big law (think Jones Day, Goodwin, etc.) Any thoughts on if it’s worth it this late in my associate career? Also, do those big firms take 6-8 year L&E laterals?
