Hi Fishes, Currently I am working in Kolkata for past 3 years. I am not a fan of the humid weather in Kolkata. Whenever I go out, its sweaty.. I have an opportunity to shift my workplace to Hyderabad. I want to know about Hyderabad weather month wise..
Weather is only the deciding factor to move. Anyone who has lived in both the cities for more than a year.. Cognizant Tata Consultancy Capgemini IBM Infosys

Startup hands down—will be different experience and lots of learning opportunity (likely much different than consulting). Even if it fails, you’ll still probably learn a lot.
KKR capstone is just going to consulting part 2, possibly worse hours and you’re now second class citizen to the investment team.
Thanks - agree with you
If you believe in the startup's vision, product, and team, I'd roll with the startup. If no, then KKR Capstone.

Startup if you’re sold on the management team and have high confidence the trajectory will weather the ~6 years it’ll take to get to a liquidity event.
Capstone gives you $420-500k/year once you make VP (should be two years at your level) and keeps you ‘in the club’ of top management talent. Also…if you have a similar cash offer in hand, KKR will pay up more than the startup can.
I would ask yourself:
- do I want to be a COO or CFO one day?(capstone gives you both, but I don’t see as many strategy Directors make the leap)
- how long do I want to be at this next job? (KKR will have better option value in the ST; really strong personal and startup performance can outpace in the LT)
- who do I want to be mentored by? (Leadership style, personal networks, exit opportunities can all be pretty different based on these two paths)
Then get the title changed to APAC regional manager or something :)
