CPA FAR Exam first week of January. At the moment, I’m not confident at all (NINJA trending score 60%). When is the latest someone should schedule a CPA exam in January? I’m currently wrapping up a 9/30 YE, but unsure of when the 12/31 YE busy season really picks up in January.

⚡️MBB post-MBA interviewers: how competitive is lateraling into your firms if a candidate with a M7 degree wants to retry 1-2 years later? Is it relatively same level of difficulty as lateraling pre-MBA from a top undergrad (1-3 YOE)? Answers may save me $160k, TIA!

I am a Unit Coordinator and I enjoyed what I was doing so much I took the time and spent the money to get certified. I was later told congratulations but my certification wouldn’t come with a pay increase, over the last couple months I spotted a new HUC position for a department I’ve been dying to get into for a while now and recently interviewed for the job. I just wondered what is a reasonable salary request if the question gets risen? I should also mention I have my BA and 1+ experience.

Hi fishes. Is it a fact that PWC payscale is relatively low compared to other Big4s?

I have been approached by PwC HRs twice in last 2 months, both times they did not even shortlist me stating that my expected CTC is high.

My profile:
YoE =6.5yrs + 2yrs tier2-MBA
CCTC=16.5
Expected CTC= 1.4x

2nd time they approached, I even brought down my exp CTC to 1.3x. Still they said PwC does not have budget.

I already have offer of 1.45x from another Big4. Its only PwC that is not budging. :(

I have a colleague who is unvaccinated and tested positive for COVID (he text me to let me know). He lied to the firm about his vaccination status since late last year and he went to the office on Tuesday before he found out on Wednesday that he was tested positive. We were all in the conference room together so, I’m exposed to it as well. He refused to notify the firm about his COVID status and putting all those whom he had come in contact at risk.
