CPA FAR Exam first week of January. At the moment, I’m not confident at all (NINJA trending score 60%). When is the latest someone should schedule a CPA exam in January? I’m currently wrapping up a 9/30 YE, but unsure of when the 12/31 YE busy season really picks up in January.

Really depends on your client but I would assume by mid January you will be in full busy season mode.

Me too! Exam on 1/9

Good luck! Just schedule it and take it soon. Keep cramming and reviewing the solutions for those you missed.

Rule of thumb is to add 15-25 points to practice scores since they’re harder that the actual exam. I’d schedule it before work is really busy.

I currently work at a medium sized firm and have about two years experience in personal injury litigation. The billable hours and lack of work life balance are really getting to me and I am looking to switch to something else out of litigation, preferably in house. I am also looking to relocate to a different state. How do I go about properly marketing myself to companies that might not take my relocation and minimal experience seriously?

Long time in the making; but we finally sold off from our 50% HWB short. We had two tests at the 3400 level, getting as high as 3420 today before the sell off. Momentum and pessimism over lack of stimulus could take us to the 3107 target quickly, nearly a 10 percent decline over the next month. Stay short my friends. It's going to get bumpy.
