Thinking about my Roth 401k… I’m always gonna contribute at least 6% for the company match (that’s a no-brainer) but is there any benefit to investing more than 6%? Since my 401k contributions are after-tax earnings, couldn’t I make more money if I instead invested additional contributions myself through Robinhood and have the freedom to use/move it as I please? Any insight would be helpful.

Hi what responsibilities does s4 entail?

I adopted a dog 2 months ago. She used to love going outside but recently she’s been very reluctant to go (hiding underneath the couch when I say walk or grab the leash, stopping and sitting on the walk). I’m in NYC so it’s getting colder but I bought her jackets which she seems to tolerates, bring high value treats and take her to the dog park on some walks but it doesn’t seem to be helping much. I try not to force her every time but as a result she has been having more accidents. Any advice?

I started in the industry in 07 for an institutional trading desk and then the recession hit and I got out of sales for management. I was in insurance sales for 2 years prior. 15 years in, I am 100% burnt out and currently taking a 2 week vacation. My wife and I are discussing moving to a new city to get a fresh start but I don’t know if I want to continue my MD path or to leave the industry all together. I’m seriously considering using cash/loans to buy a small company and run that. Thoughts?
