Currently taking HR certification courses with Drexel and was planning to also do the pHR certification, but because I don’t have a degree in HR and I haven’t “formally” been working in HR, I don’t qualify, any suggestions on certifications that can help me develop my current office manager position into full HR?

I currently work in SaaS, and I recently got proposed a Customer Success Manager position there. I was initially looking for an Account Executive position, but I was afraid to be a bit bored, and not to be able to express my creativity enough in this position. From what I was explained, CSM would allow me to work in between several departments and to be very free.
In your opinion, should I wait for an AE role or are learning and growth opportunities bigger as a CSM ?

Are other city’s getting a new “coding bootcamp” or fortune 500 company partnering with existing local boot camp like once a week?

In the last 8 months Detroit has had:
* Apple open up a developer academy
* Ford + Google partner up to make a coding bootcamp for high schoolers
* Accenture opening up coding classes for high schoolers
* Amazon partnering with an existing bootcamp — grand circus— and fully funding it for qualified individuals

The proposed from Co. that I’m working with is “Senior Manager” (mapped to “level 9”) with a lot following it to describe the team. Director is not allowable but could present “associate director”. Which carries more clout (“senior manager” vs “associate director”) at your org? My final round with Deloitte @ for UK Tech Consulting Manager position soon. Strangely it’s not a PMD round as it usually is for other Big4/tech consulting firms.
1. Can anyone tell me if they’ve been through the whole process without speaking to PMD? (First round Sr Manager, second Case Interview by a manager and third again by a manager) 2. What is a typical salary to expect? I was asked in screening but kept it vague (e.g can discuss later bla bla). I was hoping 75-80 (ridiculous?)

Hi all, as a Talent Acquisition Partner that is looking to start expending my Professional education, would you recommend pursuing SHRM-CP certification?

Engagement at my company is very low. We’ve done surveys but they are too high level to understand how to improve it. We’re building a sort of “task force” to brainstorm solutions to some of our main issues. We’re looking for a creative name for the “task force” that would make people excited to join and hopeful for change. Any ideas?

I’m a boomerang employee and a friend of mine noticed that my company posted a similar job description to mine on indeed 10 days ago. My boss didn’t tell me they were hiring another person in our department (small department - 4 people). Should I be worried? Should I bring it up to my boss? I’m really stressing myself out over it. Any opinions on what the salary for a Benefits Manager with 16 years of benefits experience 6 of which are in the benefits manager role should be? Currently making $80k and have both my PHR and SHRM-CP certifications.

Are recruiters worth more than L&D specialists? We have a new recuiter that transferred in from another dept. & is already making more than me and has a higher comp range. I come from Banking - years and years of Customer service, reporting, Employee Development, Researching cases, Treasury. I have been at the bank 17 years. I know some of this can transfer over.
