I am overly stressed that my parents are visiting and staying with me for 5 weeks. Paid them for a cruise but still have 4 weeks. I am dreaded to live with them 4 weeks without social engagement cont'

So I have been seeing a guy for 4 months. We have a pay disparity.. he earns less than I do (by quite a bit). He has mentioned a few times that he’s worried I’ll get bored of him when I know he can’t afford the same things I can. I think we are beginning to move past this, but now he’s starting to mention things like ‘I am really broke this month’, and last weekend he told me his mum has lost her job and he’ll have to probably pay her rent. I have a lot of sympathy for his situation … tbc

Any dads out here? Wife is 20 weeks pregnant with our first and want to connect and know from fellow dads on how are they coping. How are you helping your partner? Feel I am not doing enough. Except for getting ready with the finances.

Fiance does not want that lifestyle. Shes more of a 2-3 weeks of vacation is good.

First time Dad and my 15 month old keeps running up the stairs at my in-laws place and they keep encouraging it. Stairs are almost 10 inches high with nothing underneath and I’m worried that he might slip and fall in between the stairs. My FIL is a bit of a know-it-all and keeps insisting it’s safe and I don’t agree. What do I do? How to get over a girl who’s still always on your mind? Dated for 4 years, broke up beginning of July. One of those situations where you really think it’s “the one”. Have you walked away from somebody you loved? And why?

Mom of two here (21 month old and 5 month old) who is starting to consider having a third. I am in my late 30’s and my doctor just recommended I start trying at 6 months postpartum. I am thinking I want to start closer to 8-10 months postpartum but have no idea what to expect with a third. Is anyone in a similar situation? Moms or Dads of two, do you ever look back and wish you had tried for three? Moms or Dads of three, how was the transition from two to three and how much did life change?

I give massive kudos to all the parents out there juggling work and home life. But it’s starting to feel like I pulled the short stick by not having a kid. Really struggling to pick up all of the slack from all of the colleagues that do have kids and feel like the expectation is that parents should turn off while the rest are working from 7am - 2am everyday to make up for it.

I know this bowl isn’t the most active, but my grandmother is in the hospital for Covid (severely high risk), grandfather has it, as does my mom and 8 year old brother. My mom is also experiencing PTSD or some form of mental issue where she has certain triggering events. Everyone is concerned about her and my grandmother. Please keep my family in your prayers

I have completed 8 months in the current org and my Notice Period is 90 Days.
If I resign and serve notice , my tenure at current workplace will be 11 months.
Should I work for one more month and resign ?
Or should I resign right away and serve 2 months notice period and buy out one months notice ?
