Hi Sharks,
Anyone faced below issue?

Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

After uploading documents in Bosch First Services one week ago, there was no update from them, when I replied to them via mail - They said we will get back to you.Is this sign of getting compensation breakup or they looking for other candidates.I have offer from CGI and only 3 days is remaining to accept. What should I do in this case?As CGI has said if you don't join after accepting offer we will blacklist you.

Isn’t 16 month really young, one of my friends had a similar worry for her daughter and suddenly one day at around 2 years the kid started taking a lot and now it won’t stop.
I wouldn’t be worried at 16 months. Also my understanding was that where multiple languages are used that can delay things too (but also a great thing to do!). Dad of 3 (not bilingual).
Apparently the bilingual piece is a myth (I just learned something!)
Two of my kids had speech delays and had speech therapy. The key age to be worried about is around 2 years. If they are still having trouble speaking at that age, then get them tested.
That was advice I received from the speech therapist when I asked them about my then 18 month old who seemed to have similar delays. By the time they were 2 years old they were speaking as well as their 3 year old brother, who was on target for his age.
Agreed, just the anxiety being first time parents. We at least want to get evaluated if possible
Our son was similar and we enrolled him in weekly speech therapy. Would definitely recommend it. Also things change fast so one day you may find he starts rapidly saying way more things
Hi, thanks. Where do you live? Any recommendations? Was he 16 months and did your ped recommend it?
Where do you live? We live in NYC and had our oldest evaluated at a similar age due to the same concerns. He was giving a speech therapist (at no cost) and his language has exploded since then. Now he’s 5 and won’t stop talking.
Yes. We started to notice some developmental red flags so we requested an evaluation. Someone came to our home and interacted with our son and recommended services.
I’m not gonna lie and say it’s an easy process or that there weren’t struggles, but we could tell a real difference after a few months in.
Brother, I understand your worry. It was mine with my first born, but trust me, they will get there. Especially if being exposed to multiple languages - it’s normal for slightly longer time frames, but will make them incredibly smart lingually once they do start speaking.
On a side note: enjoy the silence for now, you’ll miss it once it’s gone 😂
Thank you
One other data point… I have lots of friends who has kids with delayed speech due to the multi language situation. Then all of a sudden bam they are speaking fluently in 2 languages.
16 months is pretty young. I know it’s hard to do, but I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Day care, and being around slightly older kids who are talking more will probably help. Peer pressure starts early. If those kids are eating their veggies and talking, the younger ones will follow.
As we speak, my 2.5 yo is exclusively speaking in Dinosaur this morning, so you have that to look forward to lol
