Hey Everyone,
I am doing a part time MBA program and for one of the coursework I am trying to understand the challenges people faced while transitioning from WFH to Back to office model.
I've created a small questionnaire and will really appreciate if you can spare 10 minutes of your time for the same.

McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.

I moved to dc with my fiancée, leaving Boston where most of our friends/network are, correctly assuming it would be a very friendly environment to meet people. Jury’s still out on who of our friends will be “good friends” but definitely easy to meet people.
I moved down to DC 4 years ago out of undergrad only knowing 2 people and was able to find a great friend group down here. As long as you are comfortable going out and are fairly sociable its one of the best cities for that
It’s a very transient city! Given that said, many people are in the same boat in trying to make friends. And that your friend group will rotate out because of it
Rising Star
I moved back in 2016 and didn't know a single soul here. But that's what I wanted, to start fresh after college.
Some of my best friends, who I consider as lifetime friends, were made here. A lot of people move to DC for many different reasons and it's a great city for a young professional. I spent half of my 20s here.
Went to college there. Still had to make friends moving there for work
I moved after graduate school and was able to meet people fairly quickly. There are several groups dedicated to organized activities. I played on a few sports leagues and was able to create a community rather quickly.
