Disney Streaming Services I completed my interview process with DSS early last week, and was reached out by recruiter that all rounds were strong hires, and they are extending an offer. We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? Would I still have chance to be offered?

It was made back when digital was like the Wild West. It was this weird place where no one really knew what to do or how to treat it. Most senior clients were oblivious to it, so agencies and junior clients could push things through more easily. Back before paid social and pre-roll ads. It was more experimental. More "let's try it and see". And the only real KPI was views. Not click through, not engagement, just views. If you got a few hundred thousand or a million views, you were gonna win a silver lion, at least.
I kind of miss those days.

...it's a clever ad for Gatorade (there's a tiny Gatorade board in the ballpark, way out of focus in back). So, philosophically: how can the success of an ad be that no one out of tens of millions of people realized it was an ad?
