I’d say yes, since you get the sign up bonus and the $100 statement credit. But after the first year don’t see a reason to keep it since CSR bonus on travel is higher and points are worth more than Amex (assuming you’re considering it for the bonus points on delta spend)
What is your total credit card annual fees?
If you need to MQM, maybe. https://thepointsguy.com/2017/10/battle-of-premium-airline-cards/
Too many cards
The Marriott is $85, CSR is $400 something. SPG amex not sure, but I’m going to stop using that card since I got the Marriott
EY1- is it okay to close cards like that? Don’t want to ruin my credit
As long as you pay off your cards each month shouldn’t be a problem. The biggest factor it could potentially affect is your credit utilization (closing the card decreases available credit and thus increases utilization, for clarity) but as long as you’re responsible (you probably are since you have a CSR) and pay off your balances each month, it shouldn’t affect you. Plus whatever impact it could have would probably be offset by the increase to your average credit history length resulting from the cancellation.
I'd say no unless you need the bonus MQM. Skymiles are nice but not worth as much. If you're close to platinum or diamond the extra MQM is huge
