Why not try to fix it? Make an effort to fix it
Rule #1: Talk about it with your significant other
#2: couples therapy
I guess my question is - how do you even handle the topic of ending things with someone when no one has done anything wrong? First time in this situation…
Do you think she feels the same way? Have you tried talking about the chemistry fading?
u might be legally married, common law marriage
If you're feeling any sort of guilt, I'd at least try couples counseling. It sounds like you still care about her, and maybe sitting down with an expert and working through some stuff will help you rediscover that spark. If not, at least you can say you did everything you could to try and salvage your relationship before calling it quits.
The fact that you are asking that question means you have no intention a=of saving the relationship. Talk to her about it first. Maybe it's just you who feel that way and she isn't. Either, you'll still break her heart.
This is such a good question and I am so glad you asked it. Honestly.....my heart just kind of knew. I know it sounds super lame to say but my intuition told me it was over. I still insisted on couples therapy and gave it my all to fix it but in the end my intuition was right. Sometimes there really is just nothing you can do to fix it because there is nothing to fix.
