Can you request a team switch? Hopefully he's just a d*ck and it isn't a personal thing, some people just don't have any soft skills. If you can't switch teams, I would try and be upfront about it and see if his behavior changes. If it doesn't and it's impacting your ability to work, I would go above him.
How long have you worked under your current manager? And did they have a hand in the hiring process? I've had relationships with managers go south, and then had to deal with a tense and uncomfortable work environment, so I know what you're going through. If you don't feel there's any way to repair the situation, then your best bet is probably to switch teams or look externally. Sorry you're dealing with this.

Yes. My manager constantly shuts down my ideas and solutions until her boss comes up with the same idea after I've gone forth with her wrong suggestions. I've just started saying "Hey, do you remember 2 weeks ago when I said this exact same thing? We could have saved a lot of time and effort if you listened to me. This could have been done 2 weeks ago."

excellent advice, thank u!!
Not at all. I have always felt like my manager does not take me seriously. It drives me nuts to be honest.

I have had managers like that. It drove me up the wall and I can never make it in that scenario. Every switch I made was within 3m of a managerial change - month 1 I try to to get somewhat in sync, start of month 2 I start simmering, end of month 2 I am out there and seriously looking and by month 3 I am either out of there or almost.
I love.. absolutely LOVE my current manager - supportive, listens, even asks for recommendations and applies them if someone in the team has a good idea. She is what I aim to be if I ever became a direct people manager.
