Does anyone else find it easier to practice self-care when you're not overwhelmed? 🤚
Curious to hear thoughts.

Absolutely! The problem is I often feel overwhelmed.

I try to focus on the present as much a possible. That allows me more space to check in with myself for self care

It is very hard work

I hear that! I really feel like I work so hard to be stable to then practice self-care only to briefly have balance. My new thought on this is that we have to habituate self-care like brushing teeth and also see life more as an unbalanced process than one of a balanced process because stability is brief and only to be disrupted again I feel. Does that make any sense or am I rambling?...

I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.

In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.

I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.

Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

Would love some advice / thoughts. I went straight from law school to a corporate legal department in house for an asset manager. They like “home grown” talent and I “be worked hard and risen relatively quickly (AGC in 9 years). I work hard and get a lot of complicated deals done (structured products and private funds). I can’t shake certain people (in compliance department mainly) thinking I don’t have enough experience to do what I do because I didn’t come from a law firm. Any advice?

Is it advisable to join on a later date as TCS has given me 120 days of time to join. Some people have advised me to join immediately as recession might impact and TCS may delay the joining later.

Though my last working day is November 30 and I wanted to join after Jan 15 as I want to feel relaxed & do some other stuff, after 5.5 years of non-stop work.
