A bit extreme, still relatable

Hello fellow introverts! Instead of talking to people I have an Instagram account to shout my opinions about books into the void. Id love it if any of you would be willing to take a look and give me feedback on the reviews. I feel like they aren't quite at the level I'm aiming for.

I agree wholeheartedly:
I have a love-hate relationship with DU.
Good jobs for introverts? So over consulting.

Practice practice practice. Interviews usually terrify me so like any skill, I practice a ton, on my own and with friends. It’s a bit excessive, but I write down all my behavioral answers and then practice and refine them until I have them basically memorized. Not word for word, but timed that I hit all major points in under 90 sec.

I do the same. No way around it, this is the best way to prep.
Confidence is key.. i build my confidence with interviews by being super prepared which helps calm my anxiety about it.. i do things like type up my answer and some noted about the job and who Im interviewing with.. even if u dont use the bio.. i also put in talking points for myself and industry terms.. etc. ur interviewer sees it across the table.. ive had people comment that it looks super organized .. beyond appearances.. i tend to draw a blank at random times when im on the spot.. this helps keep me on track.. hope this helps!

Get a few friends to practice with you over Zoom or Facetime. Have fun with it, practicing modulating your tone and style with the interviewer. You will grow in comfort by being yourself and as authentic as possible about what you can offer the employer in your role of choice. Good luck! We are rooting for you 😀🤓
Prep is everything. I run scenarios in advance and have these made-up sentences to help me rebound during the interview just in case. Also make a lot of research about the firm in advance and have a list of questions ready.
I usually don't have trouble getting interviews even applying without referrals. The interviews shake me...I definitely think I could stand to practice more.

Practice and confidence is key. For this round I bit the bullet and am paying for an interview coach. Interviewing is a skill to develop just like any other and if I’m willing to invest $$$ in academic degrees, gym memberships, and my personal health, I should be willing to invest some to develop myself as an interviewee.
Thanks all. I’m awaiting confirmation for an interview at D. After doing research on on their process I’m feeling intimidated and anxious about my ability to get through.
