Had the same thought at Swish - keep trying to sell me a mouth guard that I don’t need
Wow I had the same experience and immediately stopped going there. I knew something was fishy, they made me get a mouth guard because they said I grind in my sleep… which wasn’t true. They try to upsell me on all these services. I grew up with a traditional dentist and Swish just made me feel uncomfortable so I stopped going
Emily Zaramella off mopac and rolling wood - know her personally and she is very conservative with fillings and doesn’t try to sell you BS

Dr. Samani at Cloud Dental
I wish! Have been to countless dentists over the years and not only do they contradict each other a ton, but often say how bad of work the last one did. I would also be willing to travel for something that I can trust and just be level with me about things.
Texas Capital Dental
Long waits tho since they always seem to be behind schedule. But never upsell, and two friendly female dentists with over a decade of experience each.
Dr Roo, pinetree dental. brand new office, emergency service specials, brand new super bright & clean office.
Only drawback he is in Leander.
Pack snacks and a toll pass.
NW Hills Smiles near the Arboretum. I've seen Dr. Vo for at least 15 years, and she is fantastic. She's also great for folks with any dental anxiety. Oh, and she has one of those machines so that if you ever do invisalign, you don't have to torture yourself with a mouth full of clay for an old school impression; they just scan your teeth with a wand and call it a day.
I love my dentist but he doesn’t take insurance. My work plan Delta Dental covers care at out of network rates, but you pay up front and insurance will pay you directly by check. Preventative 2x a year cleaning is covered 100%. All else at 60%. Dentist claims that the amount insurance covers is so small that they couldn’t make a living or invest in new technologies. My teeth are worth it and even in network rates are not great for bigger procedures … implants, crowns, etc. insurance sees those as optional… Anyone else experience a dentist dropping in network coverage?
