Start with the latest 10K of the companies you are interviewing for and also listen to their latest earning call. Check out what analysts were asking. Choose a few products you know (well) and understand its target audience, biz model, positioning, competitor, etc and think about priorities you would want to tackle day 1. What’s your hypothesis, what data will you look into to verify, and how and where will you get the data. I also ask people the tech trend they are following, and ask them to do market sizing, tell me who are the major player(s) and should we worry or acquire them, and why. Since you are coming from consulting, I’d also care about the structure you approach to my questions.

Depends on the company I believe. I don’t think we ask people to present for PMM positions.

This is for preparing for PMM interviews with FAANG and other tech companies.

Interviewed for a Production Support Engineer role two days ago - went OK, was able to answer some questions and others that I couldn’t. The role was not posted yet on their site or LinkedIn at the time of me interviewing. Feedback from Manager was that I presented myself well and they would have to discuss as a team if they had the time to get me up to speed as there was a learning curve. Noticed yesterday morning the the role had been newly posted on LinkedIn (day after interview).

I am pregnant and am not traveling anywhere where I can’t drive non stop - not even seeing my in laws 90 minutes away. I know it sounds crazy but that is where I am. He half jokingly said I could wear Depends. Please tell me I’m not crazy and that it’s okay for me to not go and my dad should be at least somewhat understanding. My wife is starting a full time job after 2 years. I’ve been paying all the expenses since we’ve been married. We each have our own separate accounts and a joint account. Her salary will be around $50-$75k. We agreed she needs to contribute to the expenses and I was thinking that starting off paying half the rent would be reasonable ($1,500). Maybe put that amount per month into the joint account and then she can do what she wants with the rest? Reasonable? How do others handle expenses?
