Hi everyone, I'm comparing two offers from Accenture and Cognizant. Could you help me figure out some of these questions: 1. At 5 YOE, what kind of package can I expect? Current offers: Accenture (12LPA fixed, 2.5L variable), Cognizant (14.3LPA fixed, 45K variable) 2. Nature of work - What kind of work can I expect from these companies? 3. would I get the opp to use any authoring Tools? 4. Work life balance - which is better? 5. Increments - avg % hike? 6. Culture - which is better?
I’m an L6 SDM at Amazon but a Meta recruiter sent me an M2 sdm job description. I have all the XP I need from previous job experience but does Meta keep your same level as Amazon? Meaning if I am an L6 at Amazon am I automatically interviewing at M1 or can I jump to an M2?Amazon Facebook (Meta)
Anyone aware of TCS hiring process? How many days normally they take for the process. I had an interview yesterday both technical and Managerial. After that HR confirmed me over mail that I have cleared the interview rounds and asked to fill all the details on their portal. However, I haven't got any update today so I am just curious how many days they normally take to verify docs and proceed to HR discussion?Tata Consultancy Wipro Infosys IBM Accenture

Bain & Company Contemplating a move from Accenture Strategy to Strategy&, or Monitor Deloitte. Part of my consideration is the assumption that WLB is likely to be better than at McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, or Bain & Company. Could any of you fellow European fishies shed some light on the validity of this assumption? Sharing experiences would be highly appreciated.

For real, I started with CSC. Merging with an equally bloated, old, pale, male, and stale company was not the optimal solution to address their cultural issues.
CSC did not merge with SRA. CSC spun off its North American Public Sector practice and that merged with SRA.
CSC merged with SRA....sooo you're probably looking at the exciting world of govt contracting
^technically correct
Read ACN2's post. Then read it again. If you're still considering, read it once more.
So even outside of public sector work, no bueno?
Having worked there, I'm just supporting ACN2's point of view. But you're right, it's completely up to you OP...
Ah okay
@pwc1 Chill, dude. It's not your life✌🏼️☮
Hahaha OP asking for opinions but then gets mad when you feel really strongly about said opinion
@OP- historically the commercial side was weaker and less successful than the public sector. You'd almost certainly be placed on long term, govt facing projects. Only plus side is I hear they're moving their HQ to Tysons
