It's ok but honestly I miss being in Ritalin which was more effective and didn't depend on two pills a day. Being on Ritalin and Strattera was so good for me.
Could your iron be low by any chance? I’m only asking because I recently started taking iron pills and was able to focus and complete chores around the house without taking my Vyvanse.
My 16 year old took Strattera several years ago. It worked for two years, then we had to switch to Vyvanse.
He currently supplements daily with Host Defense Lions Mane because it really supports focus. FYI - Not all brands are created equal (some cheap ones use bad parts of the mushroom).
For getting through tedious English essay assignments, he drinks a cup of Everyday Dose coffee (mixed w/ chocolate almond milk) which has some good stuff in it and was created by a guy with ADHD. I also drink it for challenging work days.
I take it semi-consistently but struggled a lot in the beginning with feeling nauseous. You have to eat a good meal before otherwise you’ll want to puke. I personally am not a breakfast person so started taking after dinner and it’s been much better. I do feel a lot clear-headed than before so it’s worth a try. Just make sure you eat.
