Infosys I have applied for Canada PR . So one day or another i have to leave Accenture when i will move to Canada. Currently, i am having offer from TCS ... Want to join TCS only in hope that they can transfer me to Canada if i have PR. Accenture holds very less possibility for this. Based on this hope only should i join TCS or or go for another higher offer if I get.... Just resigned today. I sometimes find it odd how misunderstood utilization is. Yes, sick days factor into effective utilization. They positively affect it as the denominator in the calculation is reduced by the sick hours taken. For example, I was sick two days last week and charged 24 hours. My effective utilization for the week was 100% (24/24). My full utilization was 60% (24/40).
EY5 must be office to office. I’ve never been involved in a conversation where full utilization was the metric used. IMO Effective is a much more appropriate measure of productivity give that it accounts for sick days, etc.

Agree with EY3. Black and purple are “good” and green is “bad” for utilization
Effective utilization is really a throw away measurement - I have never been involved in a conversation where full wasn’t the metric used.
