Tata Consultancy I am a manager in Capgemini... have an offer frm TCS. the designation being offered is Assistant Consultant.. 9.8 years experience( 5 yrs with Cap) Even though I am getting a package of 25Lakhs.. it seems like a demotion in designation.. Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. Is it a good idea to still switch with the counter offer from Cg Capgemini Tata Consu
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

If you’ve made it to SMGR, the MBA doesn’t matter at this point and an EMBA won’t be a differentiator for partner. It’s all about on the job performance and sponsorship from here on out.
If you want training, look for specialized programs and see if D will sponsor you. I would also guess there’s some internal programs you should ask for.
Don’t waste $100-150k on a diploma that won’t move the needle on your candidacy.
Not sure about D but I know of PPMDs at EY without advanced degrees
Perhaps not mandatory, but all my PPMDs or peer SM hold a Masters at least. Hard to differentiate myself without one I guess?
Following. Same boat
@OP. I second was VP1 said. I was in the same boat as you few years ago, felt that I “lacked” some refinements that an EMBA gets you, to get to PPED, also applied to schools and got accepted. But after carefully evaluating fee requirements (100-150k), and discussing with SO, I decided to use that money towards the down payment of my house... one of the best decisions I have made.
DM me if you would like to talk further.
I can’t be bothered to prepare for GMAT. Exec Assessment Test seems my fit, but only EMBA programs accept it. Is it worth anything?
