Every quarter, leadership rolls out another strategic initiative... new tools, new dashboards, new processes, but nothing ever gets removed. Quotas stay the same, expectations increase, and suddenly half my week is reporting instead of selling. It’s starting to feel like busywork dressed up as innovation. I want to be a team player, but I’m also burning energy on things that don’t move pipeline. Do you push back? How do you decide what actually deserves your effort?

You don't get to make thst decision unfortunately. Do have a conversation woth your manager about how all the extra work is negatively impacting productivity, and then let them filter thst feedback up.

Figure out what moves the needle and focus your attention on that. If leadership is forcing a platform change, you've obviously got to play ball. But you should be able to find some middle ground where you're still able to spend the bulk of your time doing things that actually matter vs. getting bogged down in busy work.
