What’s the appropriate time to wait before following up on an interview? I want to affirm my interest and desire for the role, but don’t want to do so too soon. I submitted a video interview Sunday evening.

Found out I’m being paid less than average for my role even though I was hired on as a senior project coordinator and later on “promoted” to a business analyst with no bump in pay. I am a contractor through an agency which I’m aware that plays a part in my take salary.

After talking to various colleagues who’ve been laid off or still working at the company they ALL make more than me. Two out of the three were hired in Jr roles one making 50 an hr and the other making 45. How to approach this?

I’m feeling frequently tired and demotivated (aka burned out) at my current job, but I’m also frustrated at myself for not applying for other jobs or grad school. I see possibilities, but the idea of chasing those while grinding at my job seems daunting, or I’ll talk myself out of trying. It’s been a year of this and I’ve never felt so stuck. Has anyone else been stuck like this? How did you motivate yourself to get unstuck and either happily stay or exit your job?

I’m in a role where I have to build a personal brand - leadership in a startup. I don’t want to be a LinkedIn influencer though - you know the type - I really want to be a thought leader. I could go down D+I, or ER or something else but not sure if I should find a niche of speak more broadly or whether I even have enough experience to chat at all (I’m very, very young to be in this position).

My fiance has been out of work for the past 2 years after leaving Hobby Lobby. His most recent experience is as a farm hand in Oklahoma.
