My husband and I are going to start trying soon and are trying to get on the same page regarding childcare. I suggested daycare but my husband says he absolutely doesn’t want a “stranger” watching our child. Instead, he wants our moms to watch our child. My mom doesn’t have the best health and can’t really be relied on so that leaves his mom. I’ve said for years that I don’t want our moms to be our childcare. Is there a way to compromise here? Any idea that’s not a parent = stranger to him 😩

Curious about how you all handle fever in your little ones, particularly babies / young toddlers. My coworker said she doesn’t give medicine unless her kids’ fever is over 102 since fever is a natural defense mechanism to help the body fight infection. Hi All, I have been married for 3 yrs now to a guy I dated for 5 years . The dating years were good but things are not too great now. Anyone have any experience with high deductible insurance plans with a newborn? Trying to decided if I should add my newborn onto my HDHP (I've met my $2700 deductible through delivery but my baby will have his own $2700 deductible to meet). So far I’ve been through 1 IVF cycle. I have one embryo that is frozen waiting for transfer. My doctor is wanting me to do another round of IVF to back eggs for baby number two down the road. Am I tripping? Everyone loves calling my daughter (2 months) "lil chocolate drop" or "look at all that chocolate". I love my daughter's complexion, not only because it's mine, but because it's beautiful. However, I can't help but feeling like ppl "other" or make it weird by avoiding saying dark. Calling her dark is acceptable and appreciated. I know "chocolate" comes from a place of affection, but I just can't embrace it 💯.

Doctor says I have it, but I honestly don’t believe them. I don’t eat cane sugar (not even in sauces), gluten, dairy, or soy. So not surprised I couldn’t process their drink-I don’t consume stuff like that regularly. I walk a mile or do HIIT training 5x/ week.
