That's what I hope EY does, except we have a 220 hr cap. Depending on policy I may need to take a 5 week vacation prior to giving my notice.

For PwC at least, whatever your balance is on exit will be paid out. Your balance does cross fiscal years, but you stop accruing when you hit 176 accrued hours as a motivation to take vacations. Only unused holiday hours will expire each June 30.

@P1 I would expect it to be the hourly salary derived from your gross salary divided by 2000 hours (or whatever the # is for a full time year).
P1, there's an hourly rate on your pay stub that's used. It's paid out at your current hourly rate, not the rate you were receiving when it was accrued
EY only pays out current year... cheapos....
In California they need to pay it all out, although they can stop accruing after a certain point
I have a 150 hour cap. You must be mgr?
For CA, you get all accrued vacation time per State law
