Feeling exhausted. Been interviewing and just got a no from the final client round for a role I really wanted. Feeling heartbroken and exhausted. I know what’s meant for me is out there, but no motivation to get back in the applying game right now.

I applied for a job at Visa and was contacted the same day. A few days later I had a 30-minute screening interview with the hiring manager. I knew I was very early in the process since the job had only been posted for a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after reaching out to the recruiter. Have I been ghosted or is there still hope? Does anyone at Visa have insights? Looks like there are a ton of jobs posted so maybe they are just backed up?

Is there any benefit (or detriment) to applying to a job via LinkedIn/Glassdoor over the company’s website?

How’s the axtria compensation? The HR reached out saying we can’t pay more than 30% in hike but I wouldn’t agree on that. Just wanted to know if they’ll repent after interviews or is it a hard and fast rule?

I have a in person(online, 4 hours - 4 people) technical interview coming up and I have been practicing my coding for the past 3 weeks. The only thought I've been having is "what if I can't solve the coding question?" I am still fairly new to the software engineer scene and the position is for a level 1 software engineer.
Does it essentially end my chances if at any point I can't solve the question? I mean I will definitely attempt to talk it through, ask question, but no progress in code. 🤷

So I've been at my job for 5+ years as a data analyst/back office support team. I made my way up into making a little over $40k. Any thoughts around how to use M&A tax skills for the better good? I’m a CPA and originally got into this for a stable / interesting job, but in the long-term I’d like to do something that either influences drafting of tax legislation or helps the public (however naive that may sound). At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals.
