*Financial Services forensics/AML/Sanctions/etc Consultants* what certifications (beyond CAMS and CFE) do you have/are you thinking about getting?

CFCS: financial crimes focused and a bit more rigorous than CAMS.

like

example: CBAP (certified bsa/aml professional) vs. CAFP (certified aml and fraud professional) the latter seems more encompassing but cant decide which (if either) is worth it

I'm only AML and I get by with just CAMS. Suppose to be the gold standard even though I didn't learn a thing

There really are no other that are recognized within the industry. Only other one to consider would be the Certified Internal Auditor certification, but only if you do a lot of independent assessments.

CFF is another good one if you work in forensics, but having your CPA is a prerequisite so depending on your service line it may or may not be feasible.

Looking for advice! I was approved to work remotely but my salary will decrease 10%. I received two raises so the decrease brings me down to my previous salary. I was told that it’s due to the cost of labor in the area.

I’ve been with my company for 8+ yrs, I love my manager and the work I do (engagement, recognition, & wellness programs) but I feel like I’m limiting myself since I have the experience, an HRM degree, and SHRM-CP credentials.

Should I apply for roles outside the company?

I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. I’m extra worried because it doesn’t seem there’s IB analyst positions out there. Im really hoping come January more positions come up but I’m just praying they don’t fire me until then. Anyone have general tips for this situation?

How does health insurance at MBB & T2 strategy consulting firms compare to Tricare Reserve Select for a family? I’m 99% getting out of the Reserve within the next year and, assuming things go well with recruiting, would switch to the firm insurance as my primary once I start. Just want to confirm that there’s no reason for me to stay

I’m hoping someone might have some ideas about this- I’m currently five years out of law school with a clerkship, a tax LLM, 3 years of experience doing transactional tax work and a few months of EC/VC experience (which I recently switched to from tax). I like the EC/VC work, but I don’t know how long I want to stay in biglaw. Can anyone weigh in on how employers for in-house roles might look at my experience in a year or two?

I applied to a part time masters program to try to pivot to a different technical field (still doing patent work, but in something that interests me more than what I’m doing now). Do I try to stick it out at the firm while getting the masters, ask for a reduced hours schedule, or get a part time, non-legal job so I can focus more on the program (one year).

Hello fishes, recently I have received the job offers from Akamai & Nasdaq with kind of equivalent pay. I've an experience of 2.7 yrs in Java Backend. In Nasdaq, I feel the project is slightly on better side and also domain driven in comparison of Akamai. The only thing that is troubling me is 90 days notice policy in Nasdaq. Just want to check if it's a bad thing or would it still be worthy against the project & domain.
