Firm talking about managers not pushing work down to seniors and staff utilization is too low; I feel like they’re overlooking the fact that we have a ton of new hires weighing utilization of staff down while experienced seniors that know what they’re doing are also getting crushed by work AND training new hires (who frankly aren’t much of a help under fast and tight deadlines)…thoughts?

At any level above Senior, how do u manage the relationship between utilization and realization, which is an inverse relationship. Seems to be either blow the budget (and write it off), or eat a lot of time.

FDD 🐠 I will be promoted to audit SM in October, however looking to transfer to the FDD practice. Based on discussions with partners in the practice, I would be brought in as an experienced manager with opportunity to promote to senior manager in FDD next year.
