For a fresh law school grad headed into Big Law, does the office where you start your career play a significant enough of a role to alter your career trajectory? (i.e., starting LA vs. SF) obviously different industries.. thoughts?

I think you're comparing oranges and bananas if you aren't looking at the same practice area (i assume that's what you mean by industry). That's like asking someone if you'd have a different trajectory doing finance in Chicago or working in the oil industry in texas.

Right, assuming same practice area (litigation). By industries I meant tech, entertainment, etc.

I’ve been a creative strategist, account manager (both agency) and an ad sales operations manager (television/digital media) and I’m tired of bouncing around. I’m trying to narrow down paths that I can take now, but am at a loss. There are so many ways I could go. Because of my last two roles I have a great interest in creative operations type positions, but I’m not quite sure how actually land the job. Any thoughts?

Need some advice: Last year I left consulting to take a job in industry (a pay cut, but more freedom, WLB). Due to covid I switched to yet another company (same industry). It’s been half a year at the new place and I absolutely hate it. Not the work, but the company genuinely sucks. Considering a) mba for next fall (just as a reset) or b) job hopping yet again. I’m so demoralized that the past two industry jobs have gone so badly. I’m starting to regret not just staying in consulting...
