I am working in Deloitte PMO Analyst with cumulative work ex 2.5 years. I want to move to Program Management in FAANG. But for all the posts I see work ex is more than 3 years with an MBA. So, Should I go for an MBA first or should I apply for the same roles. I am mainly aiming Amazon.

Trying to understand how schools bracket candidates in terms of the industries candidates worked in? I’m currently in advisory (accounting focus) and trying to break into IB. Say if I’m lucky enough to get an IB offer, and then apply to MBA with banking experience, would I be in the bracket with other bankers? Does that mean for MBA purpose it might be easier for me to apply under my current experience as the competition might be in my favor?

Are we required to take the SIE, Series 7, Series 63, Series 79?

My offer letter says my employment is contingent on the Series 63 and 79 registrations. It also says Canadians will need SIE/Series 7 top off and I'm Canadian. But it looks like IB just requires the SIE and 79..? HR isn't very responsive.

I’m new to billable hours, I come from a litigation firm where we didn’t have any billing requirements. Now a few months in I’m being called out by my managing partner each month for not meeting the hours.

I teach in a super red state and district and often my students do not see the pain of our Central American neighbors and why they seek asylum here.
