I am new here. This is my first post.
I am a b.tech + mba (tier 1). I joined my first job in 2009 and still in the same company. I am into marketing especially digital marketing.

I just want to understand what should be my salary as per industry standard as per my education, experience and profile (marketing)

I did some certification's from Google's skill shop, but they are not really recognized by employers as a big deal. Thinking what are some other good options.

Hi all! I’m inclined on taking up the CIPM training and certification exam. I’m already a certified Data Protection Officer in the Philippines. I intend on skipping CIPP as it applies to the US and EU.
How difficult was the exam? Can you share your experience studying for the CIPM exam? Is it advisable to skip CIPP?
Many thanks in advance.

Trying to understand how schools bracket candidates in terms of the industries candidates worked in? I’m currently in advisory (accounting focus) and trying to break into IB. Say if I’m lucky enough to get an IB offer, and then apply to MBA with banking experience, would I be in the bracket with other bankers? Does that mean for MBA purpose it might be easier for me to apply under my current experience as the competition might be in my favor?

Are we required to take the SIE, Series 7, Series 63, Series 79?
My offer letter says my employment is contingent on the Series 63 and 79 registrations. It also says Canadians will need SIE/Series 7 top off and I'm Canadian. But it looks like IB just requires the SIE and 79..? HR isn't very responsive.

I’m new to billable hours, I come from a litigation firm where we didn’t have any billing requirements. Now a few months in I’m being called out by my managing partner each month for not meeting the hours.
I set expectations that it will take me time to get the hang of things and I haven’t missed any deadlines reports or appearances. Additionally, my hours have been increasing month over month and last month I was only 5 hours under the minimum. I have only been here for 6 months. What to do?
Day one of "Me Time." Was supposed to start yesterday but a senior associate quit. Just got a hydrafacial. Waiting for my massage now. Did some retail therapy in between. Hubby will take me to lunch when I get back home. Some s3xy time this morning. If I can workout before daycare lets out, I will.

Need recommendations for a hands free breast pump. I have the spectra now but am thinking it might be worth the investment to get the Willow or Elvie since you basically just shove them in your bra. My cousin said the Willow really hurt her though so I’m slightly nervous about that! Anyone have a preferred brand? Or just general thoughts?
Today, I showed a TED Talk about the Guatemalan genocide. We were discussing the role of forensic anthropologists. It made such an impact on my students. I teach in a super red state and district and often my students do not see the pain of our Central American neighbors and why they seek asylum here. I tied their plight to my mom’s post-WWII and asked them why she was welcomed by our current immigrants are not. It was so powerful. One of my LatinoX students told me thank you for today’s lesson.
