Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.
Making himself at home in my home office!

The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?
What…..

Pulled the trigger on aeron.
Been using an embody now for a year or so and it’s been fantastic. Plenty of adjustment options and the back molding makes it comfortable to sit in for longer periods.
Wasn’t a fan of the mesh and “butt feel” of the aeron 😂
Go with the Embody

A1, no!
I don't wanna 😛
If those are the only choices, I liked the Embody better.
If you want to expand your options, I highly recommend Steelcase chairs.
I went with the Leap V2. Best combo of adjustability, personal comfort, and aesthetics. You can get pretty good deals on refurbished ones.
I have an Aeron in the office and I get uncomfortable by the end of long days. Long days in the home office, not so much.
