For the love of god, please let me deactivate incoming video feeds on Zoom when I’m on my mobile, otherwise I need to constantly move the presenter’s feed around to view a complete slide. Teams do that, and I don’t understand why Zoom, with its terrible UI, doesn’t allow that. And since you’re at it: make it obvious that you’re muted or not (with a discreet overlay sign for example)

IEP, 504, and those without internet will return in-person next week while rest of students remain remote. Regular Ed teachers may have students (mild Learning Disabled kiddos) in their room while teaching. They are saying it’s a liability issue if they have one student in the room with them, even though teaching other via Zoom. Thoughts? Anyone else experiencing this?

As things start to open up fully, some of my institutional clients are sending notices that we are expected to do X activity over zoom from here on out (things we used to do in person). Clearly it’s a cost cutting measure. My wife is in sales at Mercedes and she has been averaging $200k a year and growing YoY. She loves her job, however she works long days and barely gets time off. We plan on having kids within the next year or two, and it’s highly u likely that she’ll be able to keep her current gig. Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. I made decision based on my gut and accepted the offer. I have not talked to anyone on accenture side yet. What you think?
