Hi,
Can ibm pay 28.5 ctc under 7B band?
About to head to the HC for a role in ProdOps and Strategy in Mountain View. 4 YoE at MBB, no competing offers. Recruiter gave me a form that asks expected comp.
Levels.fyi has only PM salaries. I haven’t been told the level but expect it to be L4.
What total comp would you expect for this role? Any advice would be super helpful, as I’m a bit lost.

Partners get to buy partnership units based on performance and the number of units they have bought into the partnership determines their annual pay. Each unit gets a set amount per year based on firm performance. Partners do get to buy extra units for serving in leadership and risk roles, but there is no set pay for the roles.

Thanks for taking the time to reply!
My follow up question is - how would performance be rated/skewed for someone who is in a reviewer/QC role (like a National Office financial reporting reviewer/EQR for high risk engagements) compared to a regular line partner, since performance would equate to certain pay bands based on number of units owned.
At EY someone decides what you are worth. Unit ownership does not affect your pay.
EY1 - Whether to call it “units” or the capital we put it in, performance determines our individual accrual earnings and then that increase requires us to buy in more. Units at Deloitte require more capital and are awarded based on performance. The language might be different but the internal mechanics of a K1 partnership are generally the same.
I’m a Partner in National Office. We get paid less than line partners on average. Sales drive comp, and I’m not selling.
Performance is less KPI focused, although we still have quality scorecards. I get rated by perception of your boss.

Do they feel they cant gtm or sell because they dont have capacity to service the work they bring in with their national office responsibilities? Would they get rewarded for bringing that work in?
