I am a Principal Solutions Architect with 13 YOE of which 5 years exp is with Biotech focusing on Public Cloud (AWS) & overall AWS exp. 9 years. I need suggestions /opinions if applying for a Senior Solutions Architect (Level6) at AWS makes sense or if I should aim for a Principal SA (level 7) role at AWS with Healthcare & Lifesciences industry experience. If it makes any difference, I worked for AWS ProServe as an external SA in the past. Any insights / feedback appreciated.

If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

Passed all 4 while working full time. Skip the lectures and just do MCQ. I’d say around 100 a day and then increase the amount a week before the exam to review. Light sims work just to get used to the attachments within them, but the MCQ should carry over to the sims.
Came to say the same. Just do so many MCQ and even if you just memorize the answers, if you do enough of them you won't encounter a question on the test that you haven't seen before. I did around 1200 mcq to prep for each test (I did Wiley not Becker) and passed all the first time with scores of 90+ except REG (88).

Yes Becker is enough! And Stop listening to those that say skip lectures do MCQ.
You have to figure out how best you retain information and go alll out in that department.
I was a lecture guy, so I did less MCQ or SIMs but watched lectures like a lunatic and took notes.
I agree. I skipped lectures, but it fits my study approach as I did the same I’m college. I learn best by getting questions wrong initially, learning the approach/concept being asked from the answer/feedback, and then retention through repetition. It’s definitely not a one size fits all sorta thing.
I just finished the exams while working full time in tax and was garbage at financial accounting in college, which was several years ago. Focus on a solid general understanding of the concept/topic. I certainly didn’t learn every detail or remember everything, but I did understand the point of most of the material and how it all fit together, which allowed me to think critically during the exam and pass. You don’t need to be a rockstar, you just need to pass. And if you’re working full time while studying, you’re going to have to study smarter, not longer. Get a good enough understanding and move on. Also, make sure you sleep enough. Studies show significantly improved memory and cognitive function when you get enough (~8hrs) sleep per night. And make sure you still fit in some “fun” things like seeing friends once every week or two and exercising, even if in a reduced capacity.

Yeah no idea why people say skip lectures. The lectures helped me understand the concepts and the MCQ helped to apply the concepts. It’ll vary person by person what study skills work best for you. But overall yes it is 100% enough to pass the exams
Remember from college what study skills worked for you. Writing things down did wonders for me and my retention so I rewrote the notes. I only used Becker years ago and it was enough but I made sure to watch all the videos and did all the questions.
Skip lectures, do mqc and research any topic in YouTube that you need to clarify. Index cards for all the formulas work really well also.
Becket + Ninja
You need to figure out what works best for you in terms of studying. Whatever people were telling me what they did when they were studying not necessarily worked for me. I figured out my routine. One thing I can say is that you may need to put aside all the fun that is going on in your life and focus to get through the exam. Good luck!
I listened to everyone who said to hammer the MCQs and it didn't work for me. I prefer taking notes and working on the SIMs and watching the explanations.
Becker is more than enough! Taught me more than I ever learned in school.
I was very fortunate to be able to study full time before working, but I made a ton of flash cards
Becket is enough unless you have no knowledge in accounting ( don’t know how basic dr/ cr work). For my REG, I don’t find becket clear when it comes to basis, so I used i75 and boot my score by 20point
Should be fine. Studying right now, and what seems to work for me is MCQs, note cards, and doing sims to solidify my understanding. I’m using surgent.
Yes. I used Becker and passed all 4 exams the first time.
